I grew up going to the Slide Factory trombone festival (organised by the New Trombone Collective) every two years - an incredible source of inspiration, with trombone players from all over the world making every possible sound on their instruments. Now I am part of the organisation, and we are still trying to surprise the (trombone playing and non-trombone playing) world with new sounds, ideas, and combinations every two years.
